By installing or using the NYC Rent Check extension or website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please uninstall the extension.

2. Educational Tool Disclaimer

NYC Rent Check is an estimation tool designed solely for informational and educational purposes. The calculations provided (such as 40x tenant income rules and 80x guarantor multipliers) reflect general NYC real estate market conventions.

This extension does not guarantee rental application approval. Official qualification standards vary by property manager, landlord, real estate broker, and listing agency.

3. Intellectual Property & Brand Affiliations

NYC Rent Check is an independent product. It is not affiliated, endorsed, associated, or sponsored by StreetEasy, Zillow, RentHop, Apartments.com, or any specific NYC brokerage or property management company.

4. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall the developers of NYC Rent Check be liable for any decision made, application rejected, fees incurred, or action taken in reliance on the data provided by this software tool.

5. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the extension or service at any time without prior notice.
